Forced Expansion | Ephus

May 25, 2015 Clayton Luce Featured content, Poetry 0

And I really, really want to thank you
Lines are blurred
The universe abstractly revealed
Inaccuracies
Rotten
Unequivocal
Almost laughable
Hesitations no more
Hold back no longer

Prime Time
Doors opening
The truth
Painfully reaching and expanding
Expansion
Mayday
I’m coming, I hear you
Grab my hand
Walk with me
Guidance
Shhh….Do you see?
Dominion
Fearlessly intrigued
Changed
Dazed, Returned, Firmly planted
Illuminating skin
I am
I am here

Ephus
Ephus
Hurry, hurry
DO this, do that

Get it together!

Is that done yet?
Fall back
Chill
 Slow your roll
Ephus
That’s all I seem to do
My ephus
 Methodical and done with precision
Though my movement is often, hmm
Late
Slow
On purpose, just on time
 It’s meticulous, calculated
Ephus, yes…it’s nothing
And in the nothing was a great something
