You told me you purposefully tried to take me from my ex
You told me it was better for me to be with you, that I would have ended up in jail otherwise
You provided an opportunity for me to work where you live
You persuaded me to move where you live, away from my friends and family
You told me how to apply for my work license—and were wrong
You compromised my job as a result
You moved into my home and did not pay rent
You promised to earn your keep with chores you rarely did
You always had to be with me when I travelled—anywhere
You yelled at me when I did something wrong
You yelled at me for not giving you attention
You yelled at me for zoning out—one of my favorite things
You yelled at me for not texting you back in time
As a result, I made mistakes
As a result, I have missed things
As a result, I am Angry
There are no more results left
Only Resolutions of Strength
I have resolved that my Temple is Stronger
You told me it was for my own good
You told me I deserved it
And now I take this Pain on Paper
And Burn It
