many moons fill the sky
many moons fill the sky
what world is this we dwell in
another ever more frequent sleepless
night a plague gift bearing plague
and many moons fill the sky
time is a fleeting moment this
never sitting still flowing to an ocean
of light holding you in my arms
as many moons fill the sky
the gifts i bring you poems
fall to us from the stars
born of suffering pain struggle
and many moons fill the sky
these sleepless nights we spend together
last only for a while embrace
the heat our hearts keep us warm
as many moons fill the sky
oh the time we’ve known each other
our souls show us the way life
mystery lost and found night and day
and many moons fill the sky
my love the only gift i have
to give this poem born of pain
and wonder delivered out of sleepless night
as many moons fill the sky
how did we find each other here
in this pathless land so many stars
people we dance with our hands
and many moons fill the sky
the music gentle thunder deep
and soothing calms this quickening night
and you my love we wonder
as many moons fill the sky
if we dwell here one more night
my love here beneath the stars
i pray we share the night together
and many moons fill the sky
i pray we share the night together
in each other’s arms with the fading
song of thunder gently rumbling
as many moons fill the sky
the sound of water streaming on
its way my love silver shining angel
in the distance sings the dawn
and many moons fill the sky
many moons fill the sky
many moons fill the sky
